Summary
This study presents a comprehensive single-cell transcriptomic and epigenomic atlas of mouse visual cortex development from embryonic to adult stages (E11.5–P56). The analysis reconstructs developmental trajectories and reveals continuous diversification of excitatory, inhibitory, and non-neuronal cell types, driven by coordinated changes in gene expression and chromatin accessibility across stages of cortical maturation.
